There are models driven by jet pumps and propellers that provide powerful performance in a compact packaging in the used 40 horsepower Yamaha outboard for sale. With its single throttle valve, long-track intake manifold, and electronic control module, it offers easy starts, rapid acceleration, and exceptional top-end speed.
POWER & PERFORMANCE FOR SALE: old 40 horsepower Yamaha outboard
- fuel Economy: The gasoline needed for optimal efficiency and economy is dosed accurately via Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection. Fuel efficiency is further increased by optimizing fuel atomization with Yamaha’s EFI.
Single Overhead Camshaft: The three-cylinder SOHC engines found in the F40 and F30 are compact, lightweight, and space-efficient.
Precise Throttle Management
- All air entering the engine is channeled through a single throttle valve to ensure that the engine block receives the precise volume of air needed for maximum power and fuel economy. The air then enters each cylinder through a separate, long intake track after being “pulse tuned” to provide precisely the proper amount and timing of air at the right time for maximum density and power.
Dependable Starting: A fuel return system lowers gasoline vapor in the F40 and F30. They work well with multi-point electronic fuel injection to deliver consistent turn-key starting in both hot and cold conditions.
RELIABILITY & DURABILITY FOR used 40 hp yamaha outboard for sale
- Corrosion Protection: Our patented alloy (YDC-30) and our own Phaze FiveTM anti-corrosive paint technique work together to form a robust, five-layer barrier against corrosion. Standard equipment on all Yamaha Midrange four-stroke engines is this protection.
- Modern technology: The Engine Control Module of the F40 and F30 can access the Yamaha Diagnostic System software. This allows experts to examine a few past and current operating conditions in order to help them diagnose your engine accurately and completely.
- Protecting against the weather: A reliable one-piece cowling with an intake air drain system swiftly and efficiently removes water that enters the cowling. Incoming air is routed via a network of tunnels that gather water before it reaches the engine’s intake for maximum dependability.
- Cleaner Fuel: A large, on-engine water separating fuel filter with a water sensor is used in conjunction with the Yamaha optional 10-Micron Water Separating Fuel Filter, which is fitted on a boat. This helps keep water and other impurities out of the fuel before they clog the outboard’s fuel injectors and other filters.
SALE OF USED 40 HP YAMAHA OUTBOARD WITH CONVENIENCE & CONTROL
- Authority and Comfort: One of the optional features of our Multi-Function Tiller handle is the Variable Trolling RPM Switch (VTS®). It allows accurate trolling speed adjustments in 50 RPM increments. Every model from Midrange is compatible.
- Simple Engine Flushing: You can flush the engine without operating it by using a freshwater flushing device, which will increase convenience and extend engine life.
Power tilt and trim variants offer a trim range of -3 to +20 degrees. In order to improve the hole shot, top speed, and ride quality, this lifts the boat’s bow.
