The 9.9 horsepower 4-stroke Suzuki High-Throw model was created specifically for slamming salmon and hitting walleye. Suzuki’s DF9.9TH High Thrust can be raised and lowered with ease thanks to the new Batteryless EFI powerhead’s integrated power tilt mechanism. For a variety of heavier fishing boats, a high-thrust propeller and a 2.08:1 gear ratio provide enough of torque for effective and dependable low-speed trolling. With a single-piece forged crankshaft, forged aluminum connecting rods, and a low oil pressure warning system, it is designed to withstand heavy use. Even in reverse, a big hub design lessens cavitation. One fishing analogy that is “thrust-worthy” is the DF9.9BTH High Thrust outboard.
